The Role 

BASE LOCATION: Bellshill (Hybrid) 

SALARY: Base salary DOE. Potential to increase earnings as commission levels are not capped. Car allowance. 

WORKING PATTERN: Permanent | Full-time (35 hours per week) 


Role Description 

The New Business Development Managers role is a new role designed to uncover new logo opportunities with the help and support of Kicks marketing and presales resource.  This is a new role focusing on 100 IT- seats and above offering our attractive and well received range of consultancy /support and products.  

  • IT Security – our innovative set of Cyber Security products / consultancy and support services. 
  • Microsoft Azure solutions – supported by the Azure Head of practice at Kick. 
  • Co-Managed IT services – a defined range of products and consultancy offerings that strongly compliments the existing IT dept of organisations with over IT -100 seats. 

 

After an agreed period, the won accounts will be passed to the Tech Account management team to manage ongoing  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with marketing to help create opportunities. 
  • Develop positive relationships with recommenders like accountants and IT consultants. 
  • Set and track sales accounts targets, aligned with company aims (CRM). 
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and find opportunities for growth.

What do I need? 

  • At least 2 years ‘success in finding and securing new IT based contracts. 
  • History of consistently achieved targets – combined with hitting “Target matters” mindset. 
  • Positive can-do attitude. 
  • Strong Opportunity generation background. 
  • An understanding that a strong activity approach in sales creates strong results. 
  • A proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities.
